Other Fun Things!

• Coalition to Unchain Dogs -- We ran into this group at an event in Durham, they go door to door to help families that have animals chained in the yard by giving them a fence for the yard! A great idea and totally voluntary! Go to www.unchaindogs.net to see more info.

• Shannon's Bichon, Cokie, participated in the Raleigh shows and placed 4th with a 96. This was her 3rd and final leg in her Rally Novice title! Yeah! Go, Coke, Go!
• Sandy the Sheltie and a student of ours took 1st place with a 99 at the Raleigh show! This was her first show ever!!
• Sandy the sheltie took two more firsts at her Specialty! She got her RN with three firsts in 3 shows! Way to go!
• Deke the Canaan Dog has finished his RN!
• Oliver the Chocolate Lab participated in the Durham AKC Rally event and he earned his first two legs to his Rally Novice Title.
• Johnny the Dalmation finished in breed and also participated in Rally! Way to go!
• Last Spring 2 Poodles participated in the Bark Around the Park at the Millbrook Exchange Park. We will be there again! Come on out and see us on April 26th.
• The 4-H Club is going to be starting a kids with dogs program and will be having an event on April 27th at Historic Oakwood Park. Come out and see us there too! Lets help get kids involved.
• Electra participated in a UKC show in Apex - she took 2nd on both days and High Scoring Toy Dog on both days as well. What a great show! She is one leg away from a U-CDX.
• And the most important news of all.....Balynda is getting a new Poodle puppy! We will get the photos online as soon as we can!
